About
Rooted in Community
The Saint John East Food Bank has been part of the East Side community for years, growing from a local response to food insecurity into an important source of support for individuals and families.
In 2020, the Food Bank moved into the Mission Centre at 648 Westmorland Road, a space created with a vision of strengthening community outreach and food security.
Today, we continue to build on that foundation, responding to the changing needs of our community.
Food with Dignity
We believe everyone deserves access to good food, dignity and a community that cares.
Food insecurity can affect anyone. Our role is to provide food assistance in a welcoming, respectful environment where people feel valued and supported.
There is no judgment here. You are our neighbour.
Neighbours Nourishing Neighbours
We couldn't do this work alone.
Our Food Bank is powered by volunteers, donors, community organizations, businesses and neighbours who believe that everyone deserves to have enough food on the table.
Every donation, every volunteer hour and every act of kindness helps strengthen our community.
When neighbours come together, everyone benefits.
